Please join us at Blofield church on Sunday, 6th September at 12.00 noon, straight after the morning service, for a talk in support of Convoy4Ukraine. Nigel and Paris Back are returning from Norfolk to Ukraine on 9th October to deliver specific emergency aid to hospitals, charities and organisations in Lviv and elsewhere. They need to raise £18,000 to cover the cost of the 4 x 4 pick-up trucks and the bespoke medical and humanitarian supplies. The trucks will be left in Ukraine where they will be used to evacuate the injured and those impacted by war. The plight and future of this nation has never been more important as it witnesses the anniversaries of its 5th, 12th and 112th take out invasions by Russia.
Anthony White will be doing the talk and we were with him on the February 2026 trip. He has done eleven of the twelve drives. The talk, with about 30 slides, will take approximately half an hour and be followed by a Q and A. Every penny raised goes towards buying aid for Ukraine as the drivers pay all their costs of diesel, hotel bills, meals and train/flights home.
