Blofield Church’s Summer Garden Party will be on Saturday July 5th from 1pm to 4pm. Entry is free of charge. Bring your teddy parachuting fun, wind him on a rope up the side of the tower and watch him float down. Also many garden games, treasure hunts, stalls, teas and cakes.

We’re really pleased to be able to confirm the appointment of The Revd Andrew Tapsell as the next Priest in Charge of the Blofield and Broadside benefices. He is currently Assistant Curate in the Tenterden, Rother and Oxney benefice, in the Diocese of Canterbury. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Norwich on Thursday, 19th June at 7pm in Blofield Church, and we look forward to welcoming him and his family back to Norfolk where he has strong ties.
Also, we are pleased to announce that The Revd Cheryl Ramballi has been licensed as House for Duty Associate Priest. We are very pleased to be welcoming Cheryl and her husband to our benefice.

We are open on Wednesdays between 1 – 3pm during school term times. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun and friendship and a chance for babies and toddlers to learn and play in a safe, welcoming and well resourced setting. The group is run by experienced early years volunteers and the leaders are DBS checked. There is no charge but a donation bowl and a SUMUP machine are available for contributions to help with running costs. Please note that there is no Toddler and Baby Group on Wednesday 18th June due to preparations for the licensing service of our new priest.

The Wednesday morning services at Blofield Church at 9.30am follow a pattern of Holy Communion and Morning Worship:

11th June- Holy Communion
18th June – Morning Worship
25th June – Holy Communion

The service is followed by coffee and chat in the West End – all welcome.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Blofield Church on the first and third Thursday every month from 12.00 midday. We provide a homecooked, two course lunch, lots of chat, friendship, laughter and a little bit of crafting. In June, we meet on Thursday, the 5th, but NOT the 19th due to the licensing preparations. Over the years Blofield Church has provided solace, a warm welcome and inspiration for many thousands of parishioners and visitors.

All who enter the church, looking for a place of worship and prayer or to attend one of the many activities or events on offer, will be welcomed in the refurbished community area in the West End.

Blofield church is open every day for people to visit or to be still and pray for the work of the church, our families, our own community and the wider world.

On Monday mornings, 9.00am – 9.45am, we will come together, to help carry the burden through prayer and faith, for those in need of healing in our church family and known to us as individuals. All are welcome to join for this quiet time of prayer.
