Welcome

St Andrew and St Peter Church stands proud on a hill with the tower visible from East and West as you approach the village of Blofield. It is the largest church between Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
Over the years Blofield Church has provided solace, a warm welcome and inspiration for many thousands of parishioners and visitors.

Our parish of St Andrew & St Peter, Blofield is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. Play Church Toddler and Baby Group
Each Wednesday in the school term you will find a buzz in Blofield Church as children and babies with their parent, carer or grandparent enjoy a wide variety of toys for building, water play, dressing up, sand play, exploring textures, painting, gluing, modelling, also construction, crafts and music-making. All this is in a safe environment where the children can move around and choose activities within easy view of their carer. There is a safe babies’ area with soft toys as well as extra space in the nave for push-along and ride-on toys, and for exploration of ball games. Sessions end with musical instruments and singing together, followed by healthy snacks for the children, and tea and cakes for the grown ups. Friendships have been built between the adults and also the children, while exploring role play activities. Experienced early years volunteers run the group and leaders are DBS checked. There is no charge but donations are welcome.
We begin after the summer break on September 10th. We look forward to meeting you between 1pm and 3.15pm any Wednesday during school term time. To contact us ring Yvonne on 07720942955.
