Our parish of St Andrew & St Peter, Blofield is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. Play Church Toddler and Baby Group
Each Wednesday in the school term you will find a buzz in Blofield Church as children and babies with their parent, carer or grandparent enjoy a wide variety of toys for building, water play, dressing up, sand play, exploring textures, painting, gluing, modelling, also construction, crafts and music-making. All this is in a safe environment where the children can move around and choose activities within easy view of their carer. There is a safe babies’ area with soft toys as well as extra space in the nave for push-along and ride-on toys, and for exploration of ball games. Sessions end with musical instruments and singing together, followed by healthy snacks for the children, and tea and cakes for the grown ups. Friendships have been built between the adults and also the children, while exploring role play activities. Experienced early years volunteers run the group and leaders are DBS checked. There is no charge but donations in cash or by card are welcome.
The Spring Term is until 11th February and continues on from 25th February. We look forward to meeting you between 1pm and 3.15pm any Wednesday during school term time. To contact us ring Yvonne on 07720942955.

On Monday mornings, 9.00am – 9.45am, we will come together, to help carry the burden through prayer and faith, for those in need of healing in our church family and known to us as individuals. All are welcome to join for this quiet time of prayer.
