A small team at Blofield church have been working hard towards achieving an award under this scheme, now fulfilling the requirements of a 
Bronze Award in June 2026. Work will now continue towards the Silver award. To obtain the Bronze award, the team has had to answer a survey of over 90 questions in five categories: Worship & Teaching, Land & Nature, Buildings & Energy, Lifestyle and Community Involvement. The scheme covers many of the challenges affecting God’s creation: dealing with waste and reducing energy consumption; protection of wildlife; recycling, and how we recognise God’s legacy in our prayers.
Our church seeks to celebrate this inheritance in special services such as Rogation Sunday, Harvest Festival, Big Green Week, and outdoor services, subject to weather, such as Good Friday. Details appear on this website, on notices at the church and in the church magazine, Blofield News.
